Varanchi is a leading online-first premium saree brand with a boutique in Jayanagar. After serving 2,000+ online customers, we opened our store to bring the Varanchi experience to customers in person — and we're growing.

About the Role
This is a sales-first, people-first role. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting customers, understanding what they're looking for, and guiding them to the right saree — someone who can build rapport on the floor, close sales confidently, and turn a first visit into a lasting relationship. You'll also be the calm, reassuring voice for our online customers when a query or concern comes up. This is not a back-end operations role; it's about selling well and making every customer feel looked after.

As we grow, we see this person growing with us — taking on more responsibility and, in time, helping lead the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Warmly greet and attend to walk-in customers, understand their needs, and help them choose the right piece.
- Drive sales on the floor — confidently recommend, style, and upsell across the collection.
- Ensure every customer has a smooth, premium in-store experience from entry to billing.
- Handle online customer queries and concerns across channels, including difficult or emotional calls — listening patiently, calming the customer,



and resolving the issue.
- Coordinate on online orders and support so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Keep the store presentable and the customer experience consistent through the day.

What We're Looking For

- 1–2 years in retail sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role — sales and customer handling experience is essential.
- A natural communicator who is warm, patient, and persuasive, and stays composed under pressure.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and communication tools.
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Fluency in English and Kannada; other regional languages are a strong plus.

Working Hours

- Store Timings: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekly Off: Tuesday
- (Timings may change based on store requirements)
