Summary:
As an Oracle EBS Procurement Technical Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement module to meet organizational requirements. This role includes managing technical deliverables across AMS (Application Management Services) and ADS (Application Development Services) projects, ensuring system stability and performance. The engineer works with Oracle development tools, APIs, workflows, and customization frameworks to deliver robust solutions aligned with business objectives. Collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges and enhance procurement application functionality is a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert in Oracle EBS Procurement Technical domain.
Required active participation and contribution in team discussions and technical design reviews.




Contribute in providing end-to-end technical solutions to complex work-related problems.
Collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and implement application enhancements.
Develop and maintain Oracle EBS customizations including extensions, reports, interfaces, conversions, and workflows (RICEW components) within the Procurement module.
Support AMS/ADS project activities including incident management, change requests, enhancements, and root cause analysis for production issues.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high availability and reliability of Oracle EBS Procurement applications.
Document technical specifications, configuration changes, and maintain detailed records of system modifications and code changes.
Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on Oracle EBS technical best practices and development standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle EBS Procurement Technical — including Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier, and Sourcing modules.
Must Have Skills:



Strong hands-on experience in Oracle development tools — PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF (Oracle Application Framework), and XML Publisher/BI Publisher.
Valuable To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, AME (Approvals Management Engine), and Oracle APIs/Open Interfaces within the Procurement domain.
Good To Have Skills: Exposure to Oracle EBS R12 technical architecture and table-level understanding of Procurement data models.
Strong understanding of procurement business processes and their technical integration with other EBS modules such as Inventory, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
Hands-on experience in AMS/ADS project environments — managing SLAs, handling L2/L3 support tickets, and delivering change requests with minimal business disruption.
Experience working with Oracle APIs, open interfaces, and integration frameworks to extend and customize Procurement application functionality.
Ability to analyze system behavior, perform root cause analysis, and optimize technical configurations for improved performance and user experience.
Familiarity with software release management, version control practices, and Oracle patch management processes.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 5–6 years of experience in Oracle EBS Procurement Technical.
Hands-on experience in AMS/ADS project delivery is mandatory.
This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
A 15 years full-time education is required.
