Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Accountant to lead our accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional accounting experience, strong leadership capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and accounting standards. The Head Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting department, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic business decisions through effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance indicators.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal financial controls.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Manage payroll accounting and ensure compliance with labor and financial regulations.
- Maintain relationships with banks,



auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best accounting practices.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial records and information.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proven experience in leading an accounting team or department.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
