Job Brief

We are looking for a strong and hands-on Technical Delivery Manager to lead our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Application Reliability work for large banking platforms.

In this role, you will guide teams across Singapore and Pune, ensuring that Java-based enterprise applications and platforms run smoothly, securely, and with high availability.

You will work across both infrastructure and application layers, supporting critical systems built on Java, messaging, middleware, and databases.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage SRE, production support, and engineering teams across locations
- Drive end-to-end delivery of application and infrastructure reliability initiatives
- Take ownership of Java application stability and performance in production
- Work closely with development teams to improve system design and resilience
- Manage delivery for monitoring, automation, middleware, and backend systems
- Define clear timelines, track progress, and reduce delivery risks
- Work with messaging systems such as IBM MQ and RabbitMQ
- Support and troubleshoot application servers like IBM WebSphere and Apache Tomcat
- Work closely with databases, especially Oracle Database (SQL and PL/SQL)
- Build and improve automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
- Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerts
- Ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and long-term fixes
- Improve system uptime, resilience, and operational efficiency
- Define and implement SRE and production support best practices
- Work closely with stakeholders, clients, and global teams

Qualifications

Experience

- 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps,



backend engineering, or production support
- Experience in banking or enterprise systems is highly preferred

Technical Skills

Application & Development

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (1.8+), Spring, and Spring Boot
- Experience with batch/scheduling tools like Quartz
- Strong understanding of application troubleshooting in production environments

Messaging & Middleware

- Hands-on experience with IBM MQ or RabbitMQ
- Experience with application servers such as IBM WebSphere or Apache Tomcat

Databases

- Strong experience with Oracle Database (SQL and PL/SQL)
- Experience with high-availability database environments is a plus

Operating Systems & Infrastructure

- Strong knowledge of Linux systems (Oracle Linux or similar)
- Experience with virtualized and on-prem environments

DevOps, Cloud & Automation

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Monitoring & Observability

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana
- Exposure to tools like Splunk, Datadog

Leadership Skills

- Proven experience leading distributed teams
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Ability to drive delivery and guide technical decisions
- Experience in managed services or enterprise delivery models
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
