- Lead electrical design of HV AIS/GIS substations (up to 765kV), including SLDs, GA drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Select and size primary equipment (CBs, CTs, PTs, isolators, surge arresters) per IEC/IEEE and utility standards.
- Design grounding, lightning protection, and cable routing systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Coordinate with civil, secondary, protection, and external teams for design integration.
- Review vendor documents, support procurement, and participate in FATs and technical evaluations.
- Provide site support during construction and commissioning, resolving design-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience: 6+ years in substation design
