Job Description 1.
Understanding of Geotechnical Engineering Standards: Strong knowledge of IS and ASTM codes for soil and rock testing.
2.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain detailed test reports and technical documentation.
3.
Laboratory Operations: Manage equipment calibration, maintenance schedules, and enforce safety protocols.
4.
Project Coordination: Liaise with project teams and clients to meet test requirements and deadlines.
5.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to NABL accreditation and ISO certification standards, including audits and corrective actions.
6.
Team Leadership: Train and supervise laboratory technicians, junior engineers, and support staff.
Requirements Requirements 1.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
2.
Technical knowledge: Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and laboratory practices, mathematics and physics; English comprehension and quantitative aptitude.
3.
Practical Experience: Hands-on experience with soil and rock testing equipment.
4.
Reporting skills: Proficiency in preparing and interpreting technical reports along with knowledge of MS office.
5.
Quality and Compliance: Familiarity with quality management systems and certification and accreditation processes like ISO and NABL.
6.
Core competencies: Analytical, problem solving skills, organizational abilities and work load management, and effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients.
