The position is for a Senior Engineer in the R&D; department, with the primary responsibility of product development.

The products offered by Nivo Controls are instrumentation products requiring knowledge of Digital electronics, analog Electronics, Embedded Systems and Power Supply development, International standards for Environmental Safety and Operation.

The position requires ability to communicate well in written and verbal english.

The main responsibilities will include:
Design and Development of Process Control Instruments.

Design Verification and Validation of Products.

Embedded Product development.

Implementation of International Standards including EMI/EMC, General Safety, CE Marking and Flameproof requirements

Project Planning,



Scheduling and Execution.

PCB layout development in EAGLE

Inter-departmental Coordination.

Technical Documentation

Desired Skills and Experience Skills

Technically sound fundamentals including Analog and Digital development.

Design and Development of Power Supplies.

Embedded System development on 80C51, ATMega, Renesas Micrcontrollers and different peripherals like NVRAM, Keyboards, Displays including TFT/Alpha-Numeric Displays etc.

Embedded C development on ATmel Studio-7, Keil and different IDEs.

Knowledge of Communication Protocols including RS485/MODBUS/Ethernet-TCP.

Implementation of International Standards for EMI/EMC, General Safety requirements in products.

Derivation of Technical Specifications for Products.

Development of Technical Specifications, Design Verification and Validation Methods for Process Control Instruments.

SMD Component soldering

Project and Product Documentation.

High moral and ethical values.
