Medical Superintendent / Hospital Administrator

Purpose

To manage the Nursing Department and ensure safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining hospital standards and nursing discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all nursing staff and nursing activities.

Prepare and manage duty rosters for all shifts.

Ensure quality nursing care and patient safety.

Monitor nursing documentation and records.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.

Conduct regular ward rounds and nursing audits.

Handle patient and staff concerns related to nursing services.

Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff.

Organize regular nursing education and training programs.

Ensure infection control and biomedical waste management practices are followed.

Maintain adequate nursing supplies and equipment.





Coordinate with doctors and other hospital departments.

Prepare monthly reports and maintain nursing department records.

Qualifications

B.Sc. Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing preferred)

Valid State Nursing Council Registration

Experience

8–10 years of nursing experience.

3–5 years in a supervisory or administrative role.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
