Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Panel Installation Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a robust understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. You will work as part of a team, ensuring that all installations meet company standards, industry regulations, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install solar PV panels, racking, and mounting systems on various roof types and ground-mount structures according to design specifications and safety guidelines.
- Perform electrical wiring of solar arrays, inverters, and other system components, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and company standards.
- Assemble and install all necessary hardware, including conduit, junction boxes, and wiring, to complete the solar PV system.
- Conduct pre-installation site assessments to verify measurements,



identify potential obstacles, and confirm material requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical or mechanical issues that may arise during the installation process.
- Connect solar panels to the electrical grid and ensure proper functionality of the entire system.
- Perform system testing and commissioning to verify optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including working at heights, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and following lockout/tagout procedures.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and customers regarding project status and any potential issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
