Job Description – Electrical Engineer Job Title: Electrical Engineer Department: Engineering / Maintenance Reports To: Project Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment in the hospital and medical college.

Ensure uninterrupted electrical power supply to all critical areas, including Operation Theatres, ICUs, Emergency, Laboratories, Blood Bank, and other departments.

Monitor and maintain transformers, HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS systems, stabilizers, electrical distribution panels, and related equipment.

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical installations and maintain proper records.

Regularly inspect electrical wiring, lighting systems, earthing systems, and electrical safety equipment.

Coordinate with electricians and maintenance staff for day-to-day electrical works and complaints.

Ensure proper functioning of emergency power backup systems and conduct periodic testing.





Monitor electricity consumption and implement measures for energy conservation and efficient utilization of power.

Coordinate with external vendors and service agencies for maintenance and repair activities.

Maintain electrical maintenance logs, equipment records, checklists, and statutory documentation.

Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and hospital safety protocols.

Attend emergency electrical breakdowns promptly and ensure minimum disruption to hospital operations.

Assist in electrical works related to new projects, renovations, equipment installations, and infrastructure development.

Perform any other duties related to electrical engineering and maintenance as assigned by the management.

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Relevant experience in electrical maintenance

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
