The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing project billing activities,
ensuring accurate measurements, estimates, and timely billing as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify RA (Running Account) Bills and Final Bills.
- Check quantities as per approved drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
- Prepare client and contractor bills.
- Prepare estimates of work from the drawings.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from drawings.
- Verify subcontractor bills and measurement sheets.
- Prepare cost estimations using AutoCAD drawings and approved BOQs.
- Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Interior, and Exterior contractors.
- Coordinate with turnkey interior contractors for billing, measurements, and work execution.
- Monitor project progress and maintain accurate billing records.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing documentation.
- Support project cost control and payment processing.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in construction billing.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in turnkey interior contracting projects will be preferred.
Required Skills
- BOQ Preparation & Quantity Estimation.
- RA Billing & Final Billing.
- AutoCAD, MS Excel & MS Office.
- Ability to prepare estimates from drawings.
- Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills
