- Operate Machines: Use flatbed, post-bed, cylinder bed, or computerized stitching machines.
- Material Prep: Perform folding, skiving, trimming, and punching work on leather or textile pieces.
- Quality Check: Inspect stitched shoe uppers for defects and ensure accurate alignment with design patterns.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 5 years to 10 years of sewing experience in the footwear or leather industry.
- Education: Often open to candidates below SSLC or 10th pass.
- Core Skills: Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical blueprints or sample shoes.
