AZ Concepts design+build (AZC Group) manufactures custom furniture at our own facility in AMB, Himachal Pradesh, alongside our Architecture, Interior Fit-Out, and Turnkey Contracting practices across India and the UAE.

In our organisation the draftsman is the bridge between the design studio and the factory floor — when your drawing is right, the factory cuts right the first time. We value this role accordingly, in pay and in progression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Furniture shop drawings from approved designs: carcass construction, sections, exploded details, edge-banding callouts, hardware placement (Hettich / Hafele / Ebco)

- Cutting lists and panel breakdowns — board utilisation and wastage control

- GFC drawing sets for site fit-out: partitions, ceilings, wall panelling, storage

- Disciplined revision control (R01, R02, dated) — the factory works only from released revisions

- Direct coordination with the factory supervisor on buildability

- Site measurement drawings where required

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- ITI / Diploma (Draftsman — Civil/Mechanical) or proven equivalent experience

- 2+ years drawing furniture, modular kitchens/wardrobes,



or interior fit-out; trainee positions available for rapid AutoCAD freshers

- Fast, accurate AutoCAD 2D — tested live at a workstation before any offer

- Knowledge of ply/MDF board sizes, laminates, and cabinet hardware is a strong plus

- Familiarity with panel-optimisation or CNC-ready output and current design software will be appreciated

- For the AMB factory posting, candidates from the Una / AMB / Nangal / Ropar / Hamirpur belt are strongly preferred

WHAT WE OFFER

- A defined growth line rare in this trade: Draftsman → Senior Draftsman → Production Drawing Head

- Exposure to panel optimisation and CNC-ready drawing output

- Rs. 15,000–25,000 per month based on tested speed and accuracy; trainee stipend for freshers
