About the Role:

We are looking for a Vice President , AI with a strong background in delivering complex AI/ML projects to join our team. This role will involve leading a team of data scientists and analysts to deliver AI/ML projects across our customers . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of customer projects, managing customer expectations and relationships, and identifying and managing engagement risks. You will also participate in current business development and coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, as well as strong experience in Agile methodology and high-level and low-level design.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement AI / ML strategy and roadmap to our customers and ensure alignment with customer business objectives and vision.

Collaborate with customers to craft compelling Gen AI / AI use cases that drive business value and translate use cases into detailed requirements and specifications.

Turn business requirements into AI application features and capabilities, map use cases to granular team tasks and produce detailed project work plans.

Engage with executive leadership to communicate program statuses and outcomes, presenting a clear and compelling story.

Lead solution development with a team of engineers, architects, data scientists, product managers to deliver successful deployment

Oversee the planning, execution,



and delivery of projects/ program by setting project quality & performance standards, governing risks and issues, handling client escalations

Identify and explore new and emerging technologies and assess their feasibility, build necessary capabilities.

Manage a team of AI engineers , leads and architects to drive the implementation of AI solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.

15+ years of proven experience in AI/ML leadership role with a track record of successfully managing teams and delivering complex AI/ML projects in production enterprise environments

Proven track record of leading generative AI research projects and teams.

Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying production grade generative AI solutions

Experience in Gen AI involving Open source and closed source solutions

Significant experience in Python and its libraries for data science, Generative AI, and Cognitive AI solutions

Demonstrated experience developing best practices and recommendations around tools/technologies for ML life-cycle and LLMOps capabilities

Leadership experience in guiding AI teams and driving innovation in generative AI.

Proven experience in people management, preferably managing a team of Business Analysts and client-facing/internal stakeholder-facing roles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the technology industry.

PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is preferred.
