Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PDC-Quality Line Incharge to join our team at Eurocast Engineering Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of die-cast parts on the production line, adhering to customer specifications, and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or) Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners (Preferable) / 15 to 30 Days

Salary Range: 2 LPA – 4 LPA

Roles and Responsibilities

- In-Process Inspection:
- Inspect die-cast parts on the production line as per control plan
- Check visual defects: cracks, porosity, cold shuts, blisters, flash, misruns
- Verify dimensions using gauges, callipers, micrometres, CMM (if required)
- Ensure surface finish and cosmetic standards are met

- Quality Control & Compliance:

- Ensure parts meet customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and inspection standards
- Identify and segregate non-conforming parts
- Apply OK / Not OK identification and maintain traceability





- Documentation & Reporting:

- Record inspection results in quality check sheets or digital systems
- Maintain first-off, in-process, and final inspection records
- Report defects, trends, and recurring issues to Quality Engineer / Supervisor
- Support PPAP, control plans, and audits when required

- Defect Analysis & Communication:

- Communicate quality issues immediately to production and maintenance teams
- Assist in root cause analysis (casting defects, tooling issues, process variation)
- Verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

- Process Monitoring:

- Monitor critical process parameters affecting casting quality
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and packing of inspected parts
- Check die condition and cleanliness from a quality perspective

- Safety & 5S:

- Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and plant safety policies
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S in inspection and production areas

Skills & Knowledge Required

- Knowledge of die casting processes (HPDC/LPDC/GDC)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Familiarity with measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of quality tools (SPC, 7 QC tools)
- Attention to detail and good communication skills
