Office Timings : 9.30 am-6.30 pm (Mon-sat) Sun week off

Job Description :

· Prepare, review and modify 2D/3D drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, GA drawings and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D), SolidWorks and similar CAD software.

· Develop detailed drawings for sheet metal components, fabricated structures, electrical panel enclosures, cabinets and customized engineering products.

· Prepare production-ready drawings considering laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding, machining and assembly requirements.

· Prepare and maintain BOMs, material specifications, engineering documentation, revision history and design records.

· Prepare manufacturing drawings considering tooling requirements, dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures and production feasibility.

· Review customer specifications, engineering standards and manufacturing requirements to ensure drawing accuracy and manufacturability.

· Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR) / Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and maintain revision-controlled engineering documents.

· Coordinate with Production for drawing clarifications, manufacturing support and engineering changes.





· Verify drawings on the shop floor and incorporate manufacturing feedback for continuous improvement.

· Support prototype development, trial assemblies, product validation and production improvement activities.

Qualification & Eligibility:

· ITI – Mechanical Draftsman (Mandatory).

· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in an Engineering/Manufacturing organization.

· Hands-on experience in AutoCAD (2D/3D), SolidWorks and similar CAD software is mandatory.

· Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Design, Fabrication Drawings, Assembly Drawings and Manufacturing Drawings.

· Sound understanding of Laser Cutting, CNC Punching, Bending, Welding, Machining and Sheet Metal Manufacturing Processes.

· Knowledge of Dies, Moulds, Jigs & Fixtures, GD&T;, BOM Preparation, Material Specifications and Engineering Documentation.

· Ability to convert conceptual sketches into production-ready manufacturing drawings.

· Knowledge of IS, IEC and applicable engineering standards will be an added advantage.
