JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Technology Planning: Safety, Comfort & Convenience Technology Planning & Roadmap Development

- Explore emerging trends such as

autonomous driving, vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I)

and

vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication

, integrating them into the

company’s safety roadmap

where applicable.

- Develop and manage the strategic roadmap for ADAS technologies, including features like

adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition

, and

autonomous driving capabilities

.

- Identify consumer latent need and potential technologies for

enhancing customer comfort & convenience

- Collaborate with engineering, R&D;, software development, and safety teams to develop systems that align with vehicle architecture and performance goals.
- Coordinate with global and regional product teams to ensure Safety, Comfort & Convenience features are adapted for specific market needs and regulations.
- Act as the point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring development timelines align with product launch schedules.




- Work closely with vehicle design and UX/UI teams to ensure features provide a seamless and intuitive user experience.

COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL

BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF

- Understanding of Macro-economic factors and Impact on Passenger Car market.
- Model development process / Timelines.
- Proficiency in using Project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to evaluate product features in terms of cost, performance and customer value.
- Expertise in MS office [PowerPoint, Word, Excel] Tools
- Business portfolio & financial analysis of OEMs.

BEHAVIOURAL
