Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to manage billing operations, cash handling, and payment transactions while delivering an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate must have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain financial discipline in a fast-paced retail environment.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory
- Additional certification in Accounting, Tally, or GST will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Cashier in Retail.
- Jewellery retail experience will be preferred.
- Experience in handling high-value transactions and customer billing is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle all cash, card, UPI, wallet, and bank payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain daily cash collection, cash register, and reconciliation reports.
- Verify receipts, vouchers, refunds, exchanges, and credit notes as per company policy.
- Deposit daily cash collections as per company guidelines.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Store Manager for daily financial reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, audit requirements,



and statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Support customers with billing-related queries and payment assistance.
- Assist during stock audits, internal audits, and financial verifications.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and customer data.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent cash handling and reconciliation ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of retail billing software/POS systems.
- Basic understanding of GST and taxation.
- Robust communication and customer service skills.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
- Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

- Tally ERP/Tally Prime (Preferred).
- Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas).
- Digital payment platforms and banking processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.Com graduate (Mandatory).
- 1–3 years of retail cashier experience.
- Jewellery retail background preferred.
- Comfortable handling high-value transactions.
- Strong accounting knowledge and financial discipline.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
