Key Responsibilities

- Partner with senior leadership to establish and maintain quality standards aligned with industry regulations and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with BIS standards for OPC & PPC Cement and ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures, testing protocols, and laboratory processes while overseeing daily departmental operations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and capability development.
- Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials such as Limestone, Laterite, Coal, Pet Coke, Gypsum, Fly Ash, and other inputs to ensure compliance with quality specifications and production requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation, traceability, and maintenance of laboratory records to support quality assurance, audits, and root cause investigations.
- Investigate customer quality concerns, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and drive continuous quality improvement to minimize process variability.
- Design and optimize raw mix compositions to achieve targeted quality standards while maximizing operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.




- Collaborate closely with the Unit Head and Process team to monitor and control quality parameters for raw meal, clinker, and finished cement throughout the manufacturing process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external regulatory and industry bodies, including BIS, NCCBM, CII Green Business Centre (CII GBC), and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) or Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry.
- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in Quality Management within the cement manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in implementing and driving operational excellence initiatives, including Total Quality Management (TQM) and management systems compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership, people management, and team development capabilities.
- Strong organizational, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP ERP systems.
- Fluency in both Telugu and English.
