Avya Tech is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Shopify Developer to support our growing eCommerce projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify store development, customization, third-party integrations, and ongoing technical maintenance. This role requires a self-driven professional who can work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will:

- Chance to work on end-to-end Shopify development projects with real business impact.
- Custom theme development and advanced theme customization
- Implementation of custom functionalities using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Integration of third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and shipping solutions

- Troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance optimization
- Ongoing store maintenance and technical support
- Collaboration with design, marketing, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences

Skills & Abilities

Must-Have Skills

- 3-5 years of proven hands-on experience in Shopify development




- Strong command of Shopify Liquid and custom theme development
- Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
- Solid understanding of eCommerce architecture and best practices
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience working with Shopify Plus
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices for eCommerce
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems
- Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) improvements
- Understanding of UX/UI principles for better user experience
