Job Overview

Tropic Knits is looking for an Environmental Sustainability Executive to support and drive sustainability, environmental compliance, and certification activities across our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sustainability programs, audits, and environmental management within the textile or garment industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance activities.
- Handle SAC/Higg modules (FEM, FDM, MSI, etc.) and coordinate self and third-party verifications.
- Coordinate statutory certifications and approvals from authorities such as TNPCB, Fire, Sanitary, Health & Safety, and Factory Inspectorate.
- Conduct internal sustainability audits for factory and subcontractor facilities.
- Support programs related to GHG, CDP, ZDHC Gateway, InCheck, MSDS, CIL, OEKO-TEX, and chemical management.
- Prepare sustainability reports, KPI dashboards,



and management presentations.
- Conduct employee awareness and training programs on sustainability practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sustainability goals.

Requirements

- Postgraduate degree or relevant specialization in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or Compliance.
- Experience in the garment, textile, or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of Higg Index, sustainability audits, and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Valuable analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
