About the Role

Unison Globus is hiring for our CPA firm TOTL Blue – Global Capability Center for Blue & Co., CPAs (Top 55 US CPA Firm) for the position of Senior Associate / Tax Senior – State & Local Tax (SALT).

We are looking for a technically strong US Tax professional with hands-on experience in State & Local Tax (SALT), including State Income Tax, Franchise Tax, Sales & Use Tax, and Multi-State Tax Compliance for US operating entities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review State & Local Tax (SALT) returns.
- Prepare and review State Income Tax, Franchise Tax, and Sales & Use Tax returns.
- Manage multi-state tax compliance, estimated tax payments, extensions, and state filings.
- Perform nexus analysis, apportionment calculations, and state tax research.
- Handle state tax notices and support audit engagements.
- Collaborate with US engagement teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience

- 4–7 years of experience in US State & Local Tax (SALT).
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- State Income Tax
- Franchise Tax
- Sales & Use Tax
- Multi-State Tax Compliance
- Experience working on tax engagements across:
- Indiana (IN)
- Kentucky (KY)
- Ohio (OH)
- Michigan (MI)
- Illinois (IL)
- California (CA)
- Experience supporting Operating Entities is highly preferred.
- CPA, EA, CA,



or candidates pursuing these qualifications are preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with US CPA firms or operating companies.
- Hands-on experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem, OneSource, Corptax, Vertex, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Please Note

Candidates whose experience is primarily in Asset Wealth Management (AWM), Private Equity (PE), Hedge Funds, or Investment/Fund Tax are not suitable for this role.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
