Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Website Manager to take the helm of The Urbanite’s digital platform. As a premier lifestyle and culture magazine, our website is the core of our brand experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring a flawless user experience, optimized performance, and the seamless publishing of compelling editorial content.

Key Responsibilities

- Content Management: Oversee the uploading, formatting, and publishing of daily articles, editorials, and multimedia content via the CMS to ensure a consistent publishing cadence.
- Site Maintenance & Performance: Monitor website functionality, troubleshoot layout bugs, and ensure fast load times and minimal downtime.
- SEO & Analytics: Implement on-page SEO best practices for all content. Track site traffic, user engagement, and performance metrics using Google Analytics to inform digital strategy.
- UX/UI Oversight: Ensure the website maintains a premium,



visually engaging aesthetic that aligns with a high-end lifestyle brand. Consistently test and improve mobile responsiveness and intuitive navigation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial, design, and marketing teams to align digital initiatives with the broader content calendar, launch films, and brand campaigns.

Qualifications

- Proven experience managing a website, preferably for a digital publication, media outlet, or lifestyle brand.
- Proficiency in Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, or custom platforms).
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus for quick, front-end troubleshooting.
- A keen editorial eye and an appreciation for up-to-date urban culture, art, and aesthetics.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
