Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and defining the security framework and architecture for cloud environments. This role requires ensuring that the security solutions align with business objectives and performance standards. The position includes documenting the deployment of security controls and overseeing the smooth transition of these controls into cloud security-managed operations. The role demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain a secure and efficient cloud infrastructure that supports organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies to safeguard organizational assets.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall security capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Tools.
- Positive To Have Skills: Security Architecture Design.
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud security frameworks and controls.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud service models and security implications across different platforms.
