We are expanding our team in Kerala and looking for a energetic, results-driven Sales Executive specializing in the jewelry sector to drive merchant acquisition and onboard local retail jewellers onto our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchant Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and onboard retail jewelry store owners and independent jewelers onto the Octopus dropshipping platform across Kerala.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong, trusted relationships with retail partners, guiding them through digital catalog integration and inventory syncing.
- Platform Demonstrations: Conduct live walkthroughs and product demonstrations of the Octopus ecosystem for prospective retail clients.
- Market Mapping:
Map out key regional jewelry markets and hubs across Kerala to expand our network presence.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly onboarding and platform engagement goals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B field sales, business development, or retail tech (prior experience working within the jewelry industry or wholesale trade is highly preferred).
- Deep familiarity with local retail markets and jeweler networks across Kerala.
- Exceptional communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Basic comfort with digital tools, mobile apps, or e-commerce platforms.
