Job Description

Megha Institute of Engineering & Technology is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Professor – English to join our Engineering Department. The candidate should be passionate about teaching, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of delivering English and Communication Skills courses to engineering students.

Responsibilities

- Teach English and Communication Skills to B.Tech students.
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, and question papers.
- Conduct classroom lectures, language lab sessions, and student assessments.
- Mentor students to improve communication, presentation, and employability skills.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and evaluation reports.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and institutional activities.
- Support NBA, NAAC, AICTE, and other accreditation-related documentation.
- Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the management.

Qualifications

- M.A. in English (NET/SET) qualified
- Previous teaching experience in an Engineering College is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong academic background may also apply.

Skills





- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to engage and motivate engineering students.
- Team player with a positive and qualified attitude.

Preferred

- Experience in teaching Engineering English, Professional Communication, or Soft Skills.
- Knowledge of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NBA, and NAAC processes is an added advantage.
