Highly experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) to lead end-to-end solution design and drive reusability across components and modules. This role requires a hands-on architect who can understand existing OSS landscapes, interact with business teams, and design reusable, modular components to enhance NETOPS capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design of OSS solutions with a solid understanding of telecom operations and service assurance systems.
- Improve and enhance NETOPS capabilities through robust solutioning and template-based design.
- Write and manage YAML templates used in OSS configuration and deployment processes.
- Analyze and understand existing OSS systems, data flows, and integration points by directly accessing and exploring system components.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather capability requirements, translate them into technical designs, and document the architecture.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of OSS data models and design solutions focused on component reusability and modularity.
- Collaborate with the internal team to build a reusable solution framework and drive standardization across OSS modules.
- Own and maintain architectural documentation, including system landscapes, component designs, and integration flows.
- Independently lead technical discussions, provide thought leadership, and align solutions with the client’s OSS strategy.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Telecom OSS domains (e.g., Service Assurance, Fault/Performance Management, Inventory, etc.)
- Experience in E2E OSS solution architecture and design
- Proficiency in YAML and working with system configuration templates
- Hands-on approach to explore, access, and understand existing OSS system modules
- Strong command over OSS data modeling, especially with a focus on modularity and reusability
- Excellent communication skills and ability to face business stakeholders confidently
- Capability to drive architecture independently without heavy hand-holding
Preferred Telecom OSS Experience:
BT, Vodafone, AT&T;, Orange, or other Tier-1 operators with complex OSS environments
