Jr Automation Lead Engineer Pan India · Full-time · Hybrid

About the Role The Jr Automation Lead Engineer will be responsible for building frameworks for data platforms at scale, improving system reliability, and reducing production incidents. This role requires a strong background in automation or quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and a strong understanding of data engineering concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Build frameworks for data platforms at scale to improve system reliability
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, libraries, and CLI tools using Python
- Validate and reconcile data using Advanced SQL
- Design and implement ETL or ELT workflows using DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake
- Test and integrate Kafka, Kinesis, or similar systems
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
- Implement and manage AWS data and compute services
- Utilize IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure management
- Collaborate with teams to improve delivery semantics and event processing challenges

Requirements





- Develop solid Python applications with experience building test frameworks, libraries, and CLI tools
- Utilize Advanced SQL for validation and reconciliation
- Implement DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake or similar platforms
- Apply strong understanding of ETL or ELT and data modeling concepts
- Test and integrate Kafka, Kinesis, or similar systems
- Demonstrate understanding of delivery semantics and event processing challenges
- Manage Strong Git workflows
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
- Leverage AWS experience across data and compute services
- Apply familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
