Job Description:
- Ensure all molds are properly maintained with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Carry out daily operations of the department in a cost-effective manner.
- Participate in incident investigations for tool breakdowns.
- Recommend repairs on all current tooling based on sample product runs and validate that all recommended repairs have been completed.
- Manage tool inventory: maintain a comprehensive inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Maintain accurate records of tool history, tool inventory, maintenance activities, and procurement. Prepare reports and document any issues or incidents.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment meet quality standards and adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct tool improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operating process efficiency.
- Perform related work as required.
