Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Tester with 1–3 years of experience in testing web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing skills, experience in validating end-to-end business workflows, and the ability to ensure high-quality software releases. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure the application's functionality, usability, performance, and reliability meet business requirements.

Primary Skills

* Strong experience in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, UI, and Integration Testing)

* Experience testing Web Application

* Test Case Design, Test Planning, and Test Execution

* Defect Reporting and Tracking using Jira, GitHub, or similar tools

* API Testing using Postman

* Basic SQL knowledge for database validation

* Cross-browser and Responsive Testing

* Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

* Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UI testing.

* Validate end-to-end business workflows against business requirements.

* Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.

* Identify, document, prioritize,



and track defects with clear reproduction steps.

* Perform bug verification, retesting, and regression testing after fixes.

* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams during sprint cycles.

* Validate application functionality before production deployments.

* Ensure application quality across multiple user roles, including Learner, Educator, Recruiter, and Admin modules.

* Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release testing activities.

* Maintain test execution reports and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

## Good to Have

* Basic knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress

* Familiarity with Browser Developer Tools (Chrome DevTools)

* Experience testing SaaS, LMS, EdTech, HRTech, or CRM applications

* Basic understanding of Git version control

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* ISTQB Certification (Preferred but not mandatory).
