- Seeking a skilled qualified with experience in product design of automotive Exterior and interior plastics parts for global automotive OEMs
- The role involves cross functional collaboration to drive complete product development cycle RFQ to TKO stages support on regulation checks and drawing package creation
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plastics trims for global passenger cars
- Perimeters Bumper Tailgate Lighting Body Claddings interior trims I P floor console
- Interact with client engineers understand the inputs and execute the designs independently with little supervision
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and suppliers to manage deliverables participate in design reviews and meetings and achieve program requirements
- Lead a team of 2 3 members for a perimeter program
- Good communication skills to discuss with onsite engineers and clients to understand the requirements

- Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 3 9 years in plastics product design for automotive cars
- PD tools CATIA V5 NX Teamcenter Windchill
- Strong knowledge of product development cycle NPD plastics materials and manufacturing processes
- Good knowledge of plastics design guidelines and tooling fundamentals
- knowledge of automotive safety standards like ECE FMVSS desirable
- Skills to perform regulatory checks on style surfaces for passenger pedestrian safety ECE 26
- Skills on assembly management and OEM drawing creation will be added advantage
- Working knowledge with European or American clients with cross cultural sensitivity
- Excellent communication skills written verbal and listening
