We are looking for an experienced Visiting Faculty – Discrete Mathematics to teach undergraduate students. The candidate should have a solid foundation in discrete mathematics and its applications in Computer Science.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and tutorial sessions in Discrete Mathematics.
- Teach topics including:
- Set Theory
- Relations & Functions
- Mathematical Logic
- Proof Techniques
- Mathematical Induction
- Counting Techniques
- Graph Theory
- Trees
- Boolean Algebra
- Recurrence Relations
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic mentoring.
- Guide students on academic projects and problem-solving techniques.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Logic.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts with practical applications.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching undergraduate Computer Science or Mathematics courses.
- Familiarity with applications of Discrete Mathematics in Algorithms, Data Structures, and Theory of Computation.
- Research publications or relevant certifications are an added advantage.
