About the Role
This isn't a cold-calling role.
Every day, you'll speak with students and parents who have already expressed interest in pursuing admissions to India's top management institutes.
Your responsibility isn't simply to sell a programme. It's to understand aspirations, uncover challenges, build trust, guide families through important career decisions, and help them choose the right path.
The best performers in this role don't sound like salespeople. They sound like trusted advisors.
What You'll Do
- Conduct one-on-one admission consultation calls with students and parents.
- Understand career goals, academic background, motivations, and concerns.
- Ask thoughtful questions to identify gaps, challenges, and aspirations.
- Build trust before recommending solutions.
- Help families make informed admission decisions.
- Handle objections through education and belief-building—not pressure.
- Follow up consistently until prospects reach a confident decision.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales notes.
- Achieve monthly enrollment targets while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Continuously improve through coaching, feedback, and self-reflection.
What Makes Someone Successful Here
You are someone who naturally:
- Listen more than you speak.
- Ask thoughtful questions before offering advice.
- Builds trust quickly with students and parents.
- Enjoys understanding people and their motivations.
- Thinks long-term rather than chasing quick sales.
- Handles objections with empathy and confidence.
- Takes ownership of every conversation.
- Believes sales is about helping people make better decisions.
Must-Have Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, Admissions Counselling, Inside Sales, Education Sales, EdTech, or High-Ticket Consultative Sales.
- Experience speaking with students, parents, or decision-makers is preferred.
- Experience managing long follow-up cycles is an advantage.
Skills We're Looking For

Communication
- Excellent spoken English and Hindi.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students, parents, and working professionals.
- Ability to simplify complex information and guide meaningful conversations.
This Role May Not Be Right for You If
- You rely on scripts instead of conversations.
- You speak more than you listen.
- You prefer pitching over understanding customer needs.
- You dislike consistent follow-ups.
- You see sales only as hitting targets rather than solving problems.
- You struggle to accept feedback or improve your approach.
