Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for UT Welders and Fitters located in Tamil Nadu, India. The role involves performing high-quality welding using various techniques, preparing and fitting components according to engineering drawings, and ensuring dimensional accuracy and structural integrity. UT Welders and Fitters will carry out non-destructive testing (including ultrasonic testing) on welds, identify defects, and take corrective action as needed. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical specifications, following safety standards and quality procedures,



maintaining welding equipment and tools, and collaborating with production and quality teams to meet project timelines. The role also requires completing job documentation, reporting issues, and supporting continuous improvement in welding and fabrication processes.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong general Welding skills, with proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess Arc Welding skills and the ability to work safely with different welding power sources and setups.
- Candidates should possess TIG Welding skills, including precision welding of thin materials and complex joints.
- Candidates should possess MIG Welding skills for efficient, high-quality production welding tasks.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals, weldability, and appropriate filler materials.
- Experience with ultrasonic testing (UT) or other non-destructive testing methods is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Robust focus on safety, quality, and housekeeping, with adherence to company and industry standards.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in welding/fabrication from a recognized institution or training center.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and capability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production setting.
