Your work

- Performing end-to-end functional testing of Credit Risk and Regulatory Capital solutions covering EAD, RWA, Standardised and Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) approaches.
- Analyse Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), regulatory papers, and impact assessments to define comprehensive test strategies.
- Design, prepare, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data for regulatory capital calculations.
- Validate complex EAD and RWA calculations against Basel III / Basel 3.1 / CRD VI requirements and business specifications.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation across source systems and risk engines.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while working closely with Business Analysts, SMEs, Developers, and Reporting teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT),



System Integration Testing (SIT), and regression testing activities.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.
- Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities to enhance testing effectiveness and platform stability.

Key skills Required

- MBA (Finance) + B Tech and good to have FRM/CFA
- Strong credit risk knowledge and working experience on any Credit risk engine.
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Previous experience in the Financial Services industry
- Financial instruments / product knowledge is preferable.
- Communication skills are required as the role will involve interaction with global stakeholders at various levels.
- The ability and self-confidence to work independently and accountability of delivery.
- Strong MS Office skills; especially Excel
- Some exposure to process improvement and project management methodologies is preferred.
- Ability to investigate business issues and identify technical root causes.
