Job Summary
The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the timely procurement of food ingredients, packaging materials, kitchen equipment, and operational supplies. The role involves vendor management, price negotiation, inventory coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted supply while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure food ingredients, packaging materials, kitchen consumables, and other operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple vendors to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors based on quality, pricing, and service standards.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Generate purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and follow up until materials are delivered.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Production, Stores, Finance, and Operations teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis for management approval.
- Ensure all procured materials meet company quality standards and food safety requirements.
- Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
- Preferred experience in Corporate Catering, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Bakery, Food Manufacturing, or QSR industries.
Required Skills
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
