Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in API automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Karate Framework, REST API Automation, Java Script, and BDD (Gherkin), along with experience in CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain API automation frameworks using Karate Framework.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs.

- Create BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and Java Script.

- Validate API requests, responses, authentication, and business rules.

- Integrate automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.

- Execute smoke, regression, and integration test suites.





- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure product quality.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of QA Automation experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework.

- Expertise in REST API Automation, Java Script, and BDD (Gherkin).

- Positive knowledge of JSON, SQL, Git, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops).

- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

- Docker, Kafka, Microservices, Allure Reports, JMeter, and AWS/Azure/GCP exposure.
