Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10–15 years of overall experience in managing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Management, and ICT-based infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management expertise with hands-on exposure to Traffic Management Systems, including at least 1 year of experience in Adaptive Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT-based projects.

The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering complex transportation technology projects while coordinating with clients, government authorities, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Traffic Management and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) projects.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects within defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage implementation of Adaptive Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), traffic signal optimization, and integrated traffic control solutions.
- Coordinate with government agencies, municipal corporations, consultants, contractors, and technology partners.
- Develop project plans, schedules, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress using project management methodologies and reporting tools.
- Ensure successful deployment and integration of ICT infrastructure, networking, communication systems, and software applications.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, procurement activities, and vendor performance.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and provide periodic status reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure timely project completion.
- Support testing,



commissioning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and project handover activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and lifecycle.
- Experience in Traffic Management Systems (TMS), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Smart City projects.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Adaptive Traffic Management Systems (ATMS).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT-based projects, including networking, communication systems, and system integration.
- Strong understanding of traffic signal systems, surveillance systems (CCTV), Variable Message Signs (VMS), Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and related ITS technologies.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, and government clients.
- Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Robust leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working on Smart City, Urban Mobility, or Government Infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to command and control centers, integrated traffic management platforms, and IoT-based transportation solutions.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, system integration, cloud platforms, and ICT infrastructure.
- Experience in tender management, project documentation, and contract management.
