Leading engineering and procurement company requires Civil procurement engineer Delhi One of our client and leading engineering company headquaterred at Delhi and operating in other cities also is looking out for Civil Procurement Engineer for its Delhi HQ PFB THE JD AND DETAILS AND CONFIRM YOUR INTEREST AND FITMENT The Civil Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing negotiating and purchasing materials equipment and services required for civil engineering and construction projects The role ensures that procurement activities meet project timelines quality standards and budget constraints Key Responsibilities Material Equipment Procurement Identify and source civil construction materials e g concrete steel rebar aggregates and other materiaL used in construction and engineering Prepare and issue RFQs Requests for Quotation evaluate bids and negotiate prices and terms with suppliers Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules Vendor Management Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors Assess and evaluate vendor performance based on quality delivery and cost metrics Maintain an updated vendor database and qualified supplier list Cost Control Budgeting Work with project and site teams to prepare procurement budgets and cost estimates Monitor market trends and analyze price fluctuations to optimize procurement costs Compliance Documentation Ensure compliance with company policies contractual obligations and local regulations Prepare and maintain procurement logs material submittals and purchase orders Coordinate with the QA QC department for material approvals and inspections Coordination Communication Collaborate with site engineers planning teams and project managers to align procurement with construction schedules Coordinate with logistics teams for material transportation and storage Review engineering drawings and specifications to align purchases with project needs Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with vendors Monitor supplier performance for quality delivery and compliance Manage purchase orders and track inventory for project timelines Collaborate with engineering operations and finance teams on procurement strategy Ensure compliance with safety environmental and industry regulations Support continuous improvement initiatives in cost savings and supply chain optimization Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field 5 years of experience in procurement in the construction or civil engineering industry Robust knowledge of construction materials and market suppliers Experience with ERP or procurement software e g SAP Oracle etc Excellent negotiation communication and analytical skills If the position interests you and you find a fitment kindly share your updated cv and details at hidden email or contact Rajathidden mobile Kindly share the following details Current fixed ctc and notice period Expected ctc Open t work in Delhi south delhi Relevant years of experience in procurement of civil and construction and engineering material Reason for leaving current or last jobs
