Senior Executive Finance - 5+ years

Location: Kochi/Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Finance to join our finance function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing end-to-end finance operations within a software services or IT services company in India, with a robust command of Indian accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and audit management.

This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance and supporting strategic decision-making.

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely closure of accounts every month-end.
- Lead and coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits with external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Address audit queries, resolve audit observations, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.




- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance — GST, TDS, Income Tax, advance tax computations and filings.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS returns, and income tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act 2013 including ROC filings, secretarial compliance, and statutory registers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Experience

5 – 6 years of total finance experience, with minimum 3 years in a software services / IT services company in India

Audit Experience

Mandatory — must have led or managed statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits

Software Tools

Microsoft D365 / Zoho Books / QuickBooks, MS Excel (Advanced), GST portal

ADDED ADVANTAGE

- Prior experience in IT services, software services or technology consulting firms.
- Exposure to top-tier audit firms during articleship or employment.
- Experience with transfer pricing documentation for cross-border service transactions.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition for service contracts under Ind AS 115.
- Familiarity with SEZ / STPI unit compliance,
