About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Human Capital Management (HCM) Consultant to support both implementation and ongoing support projects. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (TM), and Payroll (PY) processes. The role requires industry-specific expertise to address workforce management, shift planning, payroll complexities, and labour compliance unique to the mining sector.

Responsibilities

- Human Capital Management (HCM):
- Configure Organizational Management (OM) to map hierarchical structures, reporting lines, and job roles in mining operations.
- Implement Personnel Administration (PA) for employee master data, hiring, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Set up Time Management (TM) including shift planning, attendance tracking, overtime calculations, and leave management.
- Configure Payroll (PY) processes, including wage types, deductions, statutory compliances, and payroll posting to FI.
- Define and implement incentive and bonus schemes based on production targets and safety compliance.
- Implement employee self-service (ESS) and manager self-service (MSS) portals for streamlined HR processes.
- - SAP S/4HANA Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP FI/CO for payroll processing and financial reporting.
- Align SAP HCM with SAP PS and PM to track labor costs in capital and maintenance projects.
- Integrate SAP HCM with SAP SuccessFactors for talent management and recruitment.
- Work closely with SAP EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) for compliance with workforce safety regulations.
- Ensure proper integration of Time Management with access control systems (biometric, RFID, etc.).
- - Process Optimization:




- Optimize payroll processing and automate statutory compliance reporting.
- Implement workforce analytics for better resource planning.
- Leverage SAP Fiori apps for real-time attendance tracking, approvals, and HR dashboards.
- Improve shift planning and overtime management to ensure optimal workforce utilization.
- Automate leave request and approval workflows to reduce manual interventions.
- - Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for end users.
- Develop user manuals, SOPs, and knowledge transfer documents.
- Assist in change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes.
- Provide business process workshops to align SAP solutions with operational needs.
- - Support and Issue Resolution:
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for SAP HCM-related issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Troubleshoot HCM-related issues.
- Work on SAP OSS notes and enhancement requests as required.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.
- Guide business stakeholders on best practices in financial reporting and compliance.
- Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA HCM.

Qualifications

- MBA or Degree in Related fields.
- 6+ years of experience as an SAP HCM, preferably in the mining or manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 1 Implementation and 1 Support (AMS) experience is required.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA HCM modules, including integration with other modules.
- Robust knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and material valuation.
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps, IDocs, and interface integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Skills

- MBA or Degree in Related fields.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the mining or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
