Lead – Applications (Web & Mobile)

Role Summary

- Lead end-to-end application development (web & mobile) across business functions
- Own architecture, design, delivery, and continuous improvement of applications
- Manage and mentor a team of developers (frontend, backend, mobile)
- Drive adoption of modern full-stack technologies (React Native, Java, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development & Delivery

- Lead design and development of scalable web and mobile applications
- Ensure high-quality code, performance, and security standards
- Oversee end-to-end SDLC (design → development → testing → deployment)
- Manage releases, versioning, and production support

2. Technical Leadership

- Define application architecture (microservices, APIs, cloud-native)
- Make technology choices and enforce best practices
- Drive use of modern frameworks (React Native, Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, etc.)
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and maintainability

3. Team Management

- Lead and mentor a team of developers and tech leads
- Allocate work, track progress, and ensure timely delivery
- Build capability in full-stack development and emerging technologies
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering discipline

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with business teams, product managers, and UX teams
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure alignment with digital and enterprise architecture roadmap

5. DevOps & Quality





- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Ensure automated testing (unit, integration, UI)
- Monitor application performance and resolve production issues

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Drive adoption of new technologies (AI/ML integrations, GenAI where relevant)
- Optimize development processes (Agile, Scrum)
- Improve developer productivity and delivery speed

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

- 8–10 years in application development
- Proven experience leading development teams (5–15 members)
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade web and mobile applications

Technical Skills

- Strong full-stack expertise:
- Frontend: React, Angular, or similar
- Mobile: React Native (preferred) / Flutter / native
- Backend: Java (Spring Boot), Node.js
- API design (REST, GraphQL)
- Database knowledge (SQL + NoSQL)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes – good to have)

Leadership Skills

- Strong team management and mentoring ability
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Ability to balance speed with quality

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs
- Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI integration in applications
- Experience in B2B / dealer / sales platforms
