Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales growth through distributor management, retailer expansion, team leadership, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Increase primary and secondary sales.
- Appoint and manage distributors.
- Expand retailer/dealer network.
- Lead, coach and mentor Sales Officers/Sales Executives.
- Conduct market visits and competitor analysis.
- Ensure timely collections and inventory management.
- Prepare DSR, WSR and MSR reports using CRM/ERP.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
- 5–10 years' experience in Ayurvedic/FMCG/Pharma/OTC sales.
- 2–3 years in team handling.
