Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Windchill Developer with 3+ years of experience in developing, customizing, and supporting PTC Windchill PLM solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Windchill customization, workflow development, integrations, and Java-based development. The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain PTC Windchill applications and modules.
- Design and implement Windchill workflows, lifecycle states, and business rules.
- Develop customizations using Java, JSP, Servlets, and Windchill APIs.
- Configure and customize Object Initialization Rules (OIR), Lifecycle Templates, Type and Attribute Management.
- Develop and support Windchill REST Services and system integrations with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system defects.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Create technical design documents and maintain development documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts,



solution architects, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in system upgrades, migration, and implementation activities.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM.
- Robust proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Windchill customization using APIs, Info*Engine, and Workflow customization.
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink, Change Management, Document Management, and Parts Management.
- Experience with Type and Attribute Management, OIR, Lifecycle, and Access Control.
- Understanding of Windchill REST APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with SQL and Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat and method server troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Windchill upgrades and migration projects.
- Knowledge of CAD integrations (Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with ThingWorx, Creo, or other PTC products.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to Jenkins, Maven, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
