Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant . The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP HCM Payroll implementation, configuration, and production support. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory compliance, payroll schemas, and integration with other SAP HCM modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver robust and compliant payroll solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and support of SAP HCM Payroll solutions.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document payroll requirements.

- Configure and customize SAP HCM Payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), and payroll functions.

- Design payroll solutions aligned with business requirements and statutory compliance.

- Manage complete payroll processing including pre-payroll activities, payroll execution, post-payroll activities, and reporting.

- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and adherence to organizational policies.

- Support year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Provide production support, troubleshoot payroll-related issues, and ensure timely resolution.

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and process documentation.





- Collaborate with SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (TM) for seamless payroll integration.

- Coordinate with technical teams and third-party vendors for payroll-related integrations and enhancements.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on payroll localization and statutory compliance requirements.

- Knowledge of SAP HCM Time Management and Personnel Administration modules.

- Experience in SAP HCM production support and incident management.

- Exposure to SAP Success Factors integration is an added advantage.

- SAP HCM Payroll certification is preferred.

Requirements

- Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM with robust expertise in SAP Payroll.

- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP HCM Payroll implementation and support projects.

- Strong expertise in Payroll Schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), payroll functions, and payroll configuration.

- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll taxes, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and reporting.

- Experience integrating SAP Payroll with third-party systems such as tax filing applications, time management systems, and external payroll interfaces.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently in a client-facing onsite environment with minimal supervision.
