We are looking for a detailoriented and analytical Credit Underwriter to evaluate loan applications assess borrower creditworthiness and make informed lending decisions in line with the companys credit policy and RBI guidelines The ideal candidate will have experience in NBFC banking or fintech underwriting with robust financial analysis and risk assessment skills Key Responsibilities Review and underwrite loan applications within defined turnaround times TAT Assess applicant eligibility through analysis of financial statements bank statements GST returns ITRs bureau reports and KYC documents Evaluate credit risk and recommend approval rejection or modified loan terms Conduct income assessment cash flow analysis and repayment capacity evaluation Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious cases Ensure all underwriting decisions comply with internal credit policies and RBI regulations Coordinate with Sales Operations Legal and Collections teams for smooth loan processing Maintain accurate credit notes and documentation for audit and compliance purposes Monitor portfolio quality and provide feedback to improve underwriting policies Participate in periodic portfolio reviews and policy enhancement initiatives
