Job Summary

Responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients during surgical and medical procedures, and ensuring safe pain management before, during, and after operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate patients medical history and physical condition prior to anesthesia.
- Select appropriate anesthesia type (general, regional, local, sedation).
- Administer anesthesia and continuously monitor vital signs.
- Manage airway, breathing, circulation, and emergency situations.
- Provide post-operative pain relief and recovery monitoring.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OT staff.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety and clinical protocols.
- Participate in ICU care and resuscitation when required.

Required Qualifications





- MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology (or equivalent).
- Valid medical council registration.
- Certification in BLS/ACLS (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

- Robust clinical judgment and decision-making.
- Excellent patient monitoring and crisis management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of precision.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and long surgical hours.

Experience

- Fresher with postgraduate qualification or
- 15 years of clinical anesthesia experience (depending on level).

Working Conditions

- Operation theatres, ICUs, emergency departments.
- Rotational shifts, night duties, and on-call responsibilities
