SAP Cutover Manager

Whitehall Resources are looking for an SAP Cutover Manager. This role will be hybrid working with 3 days per week onsite in Bangalore, and the remainder remote working, for an initial 6 month contract. This will be working on a long running project.

Main Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end planning, governance, coordination, and execution of all ELEVATE cutover activities. (SAP Technical background is mandatory)
- Establish and maintain the integrated cutover strategy, methodology, standards, templates, and governance framework.
- Develop, own, and continuously update the master cutover plan including dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and decision gates.
- Coordinate business, IT, infrastructure, security, testing, data migration, integration, release management, and deployment activities required for go-live readiness.
- Drive cutover planning workshops and alignment sessions with global and regional stakeholders.
- Define and monitor cutover readiness criteria and ensure progress against agreed quality gates.
- Manage cutover risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans throughout deployment preparation and execution.
- Lead command-center activities during cutover execution and provide real-time coordination and escalation management.
- Ensure alignment between deployment, release management, testing, infrastructure, and business readiness plans.
- Monitor adherence to approved cutover schedules and manage deviations through structured decision-making processes.
- Support hypercare transition planning, stabilization activities, and operational handover to support organizations.
- Provide executive reporting on cutover readiness, risks,



milestones, resource constraints, and go-live recommendations.

Governance Activities:

- Chair Cutover Governance Boards and readiness review meetings.
- Maintain decision logs, escalation records, and go-live approval documentation.

Reporting Requirements:

- Produce regular cutover dashboards, milestone reporting, risk reports, and executive status updates.
- Provide deployment readiness reporting for Program Leadership and Steering Committees.

Stakeholder Management:

- Coordinate across Program Leadership, Deployment Teams, Global Process Streams, Technical Workstreams, Business Representatives, Regional Teams, and System Integrators.

Quality Requirements:

- Ensure all entry and exit criteria for cutover phases are fulfilled and documented.
- Verify completion of testing, defect resolution, data migration validation, and operational readiness activities.

Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate production deployment risks.
- Establish contingency plans, rollback strategies, and emergency escalation procedures.

Compliance Activities:

- Ensure compliance with validation, GxP, audit, security, change control, and internal governance requirements.
