The MEP Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities related to the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of Sauna Cabins, Steam Rooms, Cryo Chambers, and associated wellness equipment. The role ensures that all work is executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Site Supervision

· Supervise day-to-day MEP installation activities on site.

· Ensure installation complies with approved shop drawings and manufacturer guidelines.

· Coordinate work between civil, interior, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and specialist vendors.

· Monitor manpower productivity and work progress.

Mechanical Works

Supervise installation of:

· Sauna heaters (electric/wood-fired, if applicable)

· Steam generators

· Steam distribution piping

· Cryotherapy chamber mechanical systems

· Ventilation systems

· Air handling and exhaust systems

Ensure proper insulation and waterproofing around equipment.

Electrical Works

Monitor installation of:

· Power supply to sauna heaters

· Steam generators

· Cryo chamber systems

· Control panels

· Lighting systems

· Emergency stop systems

· Temperature sensors

· Communication wiring

Verify proper earthing and electrical safety.

Plumbing Works

Supervise:

· Water supply piping

· Drainage systems

· Steam condensate piping

· Pressure relief piping

· Water treatment connections

Check for leaks and ensure proper pressure testing.

Quality Control

· Ensure installations comply with project specifications.





· Conduct routine quality inspections.

· Raise NCRs where required.

· Coordinate rectification of defects.

Safety Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.

Conduct toolbox talks.

Ensure PPE usage by workers.

Monitor protected lifting and installation of equipment.

Ensure lockout/tagout procedures during electrical works.

Testing & Commissioning

Assist in:

· Pre-commissioning inspections

· Functional testing

· Equipment startup

· Calibration of temperature and humidity controls

· Performance testing

Coordinate with equipment suppliers during commissioning.

Documentation

· Maintain daily progress reports.

· Record manpower deployment.

· Prepare inspection requests.

· Track material delivery and consumption.

· Update installation checklists.

· Report site issues and delays.

Coordination

Coordinate with:

· Client representatives

· Consultants

· Main contractor

· Interior contractor

· Equipment suppliers

· Testing & commissioning engineers

Candidate requirements & Required Skills:

· Strong knowledge of MEP systems.

· Ability to read MEP drawings and shop drawings.

· Knowledge of HVAC systems.

· Familiarity with electrical safety standards.

· Strong communication and coordination skills.

· Good problem-solving ability.

· Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.

Qualifications

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

· 3–5 years of MEP site supervision experience.

· Experience in wellness, spa, gym, hospitality, or healthcare projects is preferred.
