Team Leader – Mould Maintenance

Reports To : AGM – Toolroom

Job Purpose

To lead a team of technicians in maintaining, repairing, and
improving injection moulds, ensuring maximum availability,
performance, and quality output from moulding operations.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibility Area Key Activities
Preventive Maintenance Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for moulds.
Breakdown Maintenance Troubleshoot and repair moulds during production stoppages.
Team Leadership Guide, train, and monitor mould maintenance team members for skill

enhancement and performance.

Mould Performance
Monitoring

Track mould performance, wear & tear, and initiate corrective actions for
improvement.

Documentation Maintain maintenance history records, checklists, and reports for each mould.
Coordination Liaise with production, quality, and toolroom for smooth mould changeovers

and maintenance planning.

Continuous Improvement Drive kaizen, root cause analysis, and cost reduction initiatives in mould

maintenance.





Spare Management Ensure availability of critical spares, standard components, and consumables

for timely repairs.

Safety & Compliance Ensure secure maintenance practices and compliance with IMS standards.

Qualifications & Experience
Requirement Details
Education Diploma / ITI in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, or equivalent.
Experience 6–8 years in mould maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/team

leader role

Certifications
(Preferred) ISO documentation knowledge, 5S, Kaizen
